"Fairer taxation is a cornerstone priority for the Green Party. We back measures that will lead to a fairer society and should I be elected will campaign in Parliament to changes to our system of taxation that goes in the directions you are campaigning toward.

As regards to your specific questions, the answers are yes, yes and yes, although I cannot pre-empt specific differences that may appear in our manifesto. If there are differences, they will most likely be further in the direction you suggest."

"I agree in principle with what you say, but not with the details.

I would make the tax free allowance £10,000 for all people. Your proposal would mean that if someone's income increased from 17,999 to 18,000, they would pay around 700 pounds extra in tax.

I support entirely the Lib Dem proposals for a fairer tax system".
