Answer - "Green Party policy is to introduce a new higher rate of income tax at 50% for incomes above £100,000, which is fully consistent with your first point. For your second point, we don't have exactly the same policy but we do have policies which should achieve much the same result, for example we would help lower earners by raising the lower National Insurance limit to the personal allowance rate (which is £6,475 a year, or £124.52 a week), and we would help lower earners by reintroducing the 10% tax band and the 22p basic rate".

pay more tax and the poor should pay less tax?
