"As a Liberal Democrat I am very much in support of fairer tax.
My personal views are that people earning under £10,000 should not pay any income tax at all, with people earning between £10,001 and £99,999 having a personal tax free allowance of £10,000 and anyone earning over £100,000 paying 50% tax.
I also believe that anyone paid from the public purse should not earn more than the Prime Minister (this includes lawyers, doctors, civil servants etc. etc). This would reduce the burden on public spending quite substantially.
Finally, I confirm I would campaign for income tax reform in the next Parliament if I am elected".
